Lowest Package Price Guarantee
If you find a complete package price that comes in cheaper, we will beat this by 10% of the difference of the quote prices. This is based on the quotes being for the same products, same dates and same inclusions only and based on the complete package price from a registered Australian company in Australian Dollars and inclusive of all taxes and fees only. A package is based on 2 or more land components and not individual components alone. A written quote must be presented to Snowcapped Travel and this written quote must have been issued within a 24 hour period of Snowcapped Travel’s initial quote being received. This is based only on products available to Snowcapped Travel at the requested time of booking
In the event of cancellation, any land deposit is non-refundable. Airlines each have various cancellation/refund policies, so these will need to be verified on a case by case basis. Between final payment being finalised and 30 days prior to travel, Snowcapped Travel charges a cancellation fee of $500 per person in addition to any airline and land operator cancellation penalties outside of 30 days. Within 30 days of travel 100% cancellation fees apply. Please be aware that not all front office staff or mountain staff are aware of the terms and conditions of Snowcapped Travel’s contracts, and if refunds are offered directly, these may not be administered unless the person has authority themselves or by their manager to authorize a refund over and above the stipulated contracts which are stated in our own cancelation terms and conditions. Any refunds due cannot be processed until the relevant funds have been returned by suppliers to Snowcapped Travel. Insurance covering cancellation is strongly advised as some cancellation penalties are strict. Refunds will not be given for unused accommodation, car rental, transfers and ski passes, and these should all be processed through your
Please note that any amendments made once deposit has been made will incur a $150.00 fee per amendment plus charges that may be incurred by the airline or suppliers. Once final payment has been made, a $250.00 fee per amendment will be incurred.
Amendments Whilst Travelling
Any amendments or cancellations of a particular sector made whilst travelling will be charged at $250.00 per person. Please note that the suppliers may sometimes be able to make any amendment without penalty so please check with them first. Front line persons may state that portions of your trip will be refundable, however they are not subject to our contracts and can be giving the incorrect information. Please check with Snowcapped Travel first for correct information.
Please note that required payment dates are stipulated for strict payments to suppliers. Any late payments will incur the following charges. 1-7 days will incur a $100.00 per booking late payment charge. 8-14 days will incur a $250.00 late payment charge. Any late payments after 14 days of due date will incur a $500.00 per booking late fee plus any additional late charges stipulated by the suppliers. Please make sure your payments are finalised on the required dates to avoid any late fees
Exchange Rates / Currency Adjustments
Please be aware that quotes / bookings are based on the valid exchange rate for that day only. If you wish to lock in the rate at time of booking, please pay your full amount at time of booking. Please note that the exchange rates will vary on a day to day basis and these will not be updated until your final payments is required to be made or even if you wish to pay earlier than your due date. If you wish to pay in full prior to your scheduled final payment date, please contact to us prior to doing so. Once you have contacted us either prior or on your due date, we will adjust your booking accordingly, either up or down, based on the difference of the current exchange rate on that day and the original exchange rate the quote/booking was based on. Please not that currency adjustments on final balances are only based on outstanding amounts.

Airline Check In
Check-in desks open at least 3 hours before flight departure. Please allow at least 2 hours to check in for international flights and 1 hour for domestic flights
Airlines reserve the right to change flight schedules which have already been confirmed. We cannot be held responsible for any airline schedule changes. Pre-selected seating (on select flights/classes only) is subject to change by the airline without prior notice.
Please ensure that you are fully aware of all passport and visa requirements for your destination and that you allow adequate time to obtain them. Many countries require that your passport be valid for at least 6 months beyond the actual departure from that country.
Frequent Flyer Points
Membership of airline loyalty schemes have many advantages. We suggest you contact the relevant airline for advice on their programs. If you are an existing member please ensure on check-in at the airport that your number has been registered and that the relevant airfare or partner airlines allows points to your scheme as we will not be responsible. Please retain all boarding cards until you receive your next statement from your airline loyalty scheme.
Passport Validity Please ensure the name on your itinerary and ticket is the same as the name in your passport. Select countries require minimum 6 months passport validity from date of entry back into Australia .Lack of validity or names which do not match may result in denied boarding at the airport.
Luggage Please be aware airlines have strict and varied luggage policies and it is advised to call the airline prior to travel to check their policy. Snowcapped Travel is not responsible for any costs incurred by airlines in relation to luggage.
