St Anton ski resort, otherwise known as the ski capital of Austria, is at the foot of the Arlberg pass, at the eastern end of a lift network that spreads across to St Christoph and above the pass to Rauz and Stuben.
The ski resort is a long, sprawling mixture of traditional and modern buildings enveloped into a narrow valley.
St Anton Ski Resort offers diverse terrain but is a mecca for off-piste skiers and the lively apre will often see traditional music mixed with large beer steins and flowing schnapps.
