Wengen Ski Resort is a family friendly small relaxed village ski resort surrounded by the dramatic views of the mountains Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and Lauberhon. Although famous for it’s high speed World Cup Lauberhorn Downhill course, which is the longest and one of the toughest on the World Cup circuit, it’s gentle slopes are more suited to beginners and intermediates.
Wengen lies in the heart of the Jungfrau region and is set on a sloping shelf above the Lauterbrunnen valley, opposite Mürren, and reached only by a cog railway. The cog railway takes about 15 minutes.
