The 21/22 Epic Passes Will Be Available Early 2021

 

The EPIC Pass gives you various levels of access from unlimited to a few days access to over 80+ resorts across the USA, Canada, Japan, Europe and Australia.

Brighton, and Wilmot Mount Snow, Attitash Mountain Resort, Wildcat Mountain, Crotched Mountain, Hunter Mountain, Liberty Mountain Resort, Roundtop Mountain Resort, Whitetail Resort, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine, Mad River Mountain, Hidden Valley, Snow Creek, Paoli Peaks. Includes 2021 access to Perisher,  Hotham and Falls Creek.

Partner resort access:

  • 7 days at Telluride
  • 7 days at Sun Valley
  • 7 days at Snowbasin

Epic Local Pass

The Epic Local pass offers the following access and benefits:

  • Unlimited and unrestricted access to Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, Okemo, Mount Sunapee, Stevens Pass, Wilmot, Afton Alps, and Mt Brighton.
  • Unlimited access with holiday restrictions to Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, and Stowe.
  • 10 days combined with holiday restrictions at Vail, Beaver Creek, and Whistler.

Partner resort access:

  • 2 days at Sun Valley with holiday restrictions
  • 2 days at Snowbasin with holiday restrictions
  • 5 consecutive days at Rusutsu Japan and Hakuba Valley’s ten resorts (no blackouts)

Discounted Tickets:

  • Half-price pass holder tickets during holiday blackouts at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Stowe on restricted dates.
  • Half-price pass holder tickets once all days are used at Sun Valley and Snowbasin

Epic Day Pass is valid for the specified number of days (1-7) at:

The Epic 4-Day, 5-Day, 6-Day and 7-Day Passes include access to Telluride in Colorado, Snowbasin in Utah, Sun Valley in Idaho and the six (6) Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.

Access to the 17 Peak Resorts ski areas includes: Mount Snow in Vermont, Hunter Mountain in New York, Attitash Mountain Resort, Wildcat Mountain and Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire, Liberty Mountain Resort, Roundtop Mountain Resort, Whitetail Resort, Jack Frost and Big Boulder in Pennsylvania, Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine and Mad River Mountain in Ohio, Hidden Valley and Snow Creek in Missouri & Paoli Peaks in Indiana.

Epic Pass Insurance

Every one of our EPIC Pass options is offed with the option to include Epic Pass Insurance.

Coverage applies for all Vail Resorts season pass or pack products, valid for the 2020/2021 season, October 15, 2020 through April 15, 2021. Refunds will not be provided beyond April 15, 2021. All refunds are the cost of the pass minus a daily rate for every day used (10/15/2020 – 4/15/2021) up to the face value of the season pass. For example, if you make a claim in January after using your pass three times previously, your refund amount will take three days of prior pass use into account.

If You Accept:

  • Pre-Season Pass Cancellations: For incidents that occur prior to the start of the ski season, Acceptance Indemnity will reimburse the full cost of your season pass if you’re unable to use it for the entire season, due to a covered reason.*
  • Season Interruption Reimbursements (pro-rated): For incidents that occur after the ski season begins, we will reimburse the cost of the pass minus a daily usage fee for every day used up to the face value of the season pass if you are no longer able to use the season pass due to a covered reason. Subject to the terms and conditions of the policy, covered reasons include sickness, injury, job transfer, complications of pregnancy, normal pregnancy or childbirth, military deployment, employer termination or layoff, death of a family member and primary residence becomes uninhabitable.*
Coverage Description 
 1. Injury or Sickness of an insured.  Injury or sickness must be so disabling that the insured individual can no longer ski/snowboard as certified by a physician at the time of sickness or injury.
 2. Injury, sickness or death of an insured’s family member while traveling with the insured.  Injury or sickness to the family member must be so disabling as to reasonably cause an insured’s ski pass to be unusable, which results in medically imposed restrictions as certified by a physician at the time of injury or sickness preventing the use of the ski pass.
 3. Injury, sickness or death of an insured’s family member while not traveling with the insured. The family member’s condition must be life-threatening as certified by a physician or because they require the insured’s care.
 4. The insured’s primary residence or destination being uninhabitable by natural disaster.  Police reports or other local authority reports or documentation proving loss must be provided.
 5. The insured being subpoenaed, required to serve on a jury, hijacked or quarantined.  Police reports or other local authority reports or documentation must be provided.
 6. The insured is involuntarily terminated or laid off. a) Insured must have been an active employee for the same employer for at least one year.

b) Termination must occur following the effective date of coverage.

c) Coverage is not applicable to temporary employment, independent contractors or self-employed persons.

d) Documentation proving lay off and the aforementioned must be provided.

 7. The insured has an involuntary employer-initiated transfer within the same organization of 100 or more miles after the insured’s effective date of coverage which requires the insured’s primary residence to be relocated. a) Insured must be an active employee for the same employer for at least one year.

b) Documentation proving the relocation and aforementioned must be provided.

 8. Insured is called to active military service or military leave is revoked or reassigned.  Pregnancy or childbirth must occur after the insured’s effective date of coverage and must be verified by medical records.
 9. Insured has a pregnancy or childbirth.  Complication of pregnancy, normal pregnancy, or childbirth must occur after the Insured’s effective date of coverage and must be verified by medical records.
 10. Insured is a student that transfers schools. a) Student must transfer to a school located 100 or more miles from the current school.b) Student is accepted into a foreign study program that will cause the insured to be out of the country during the ski season.

c) Student who graduates and accepts a job that is 100 or more miles from the insured’s current residence.

 

If You Decline:

  • Refund Ineligible: If you do not accept pass insurance, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind and understand that passes are non-transferable nor for re-sale.

Pass Insurance will only be offered through October 15th, 2020 or 30 days after you purchase your pass (whichever date comes later).

1. The Season Pass Insurance is purchased within 30 days of making the initial Payment for the Season Ski Pass.

2. All Insured’s are medically able to ski/snowboard when the Season Ski Pass Insurance Cost is paid.

This is only a brief description of the coverage(s) provided under policy series EYHBDISP0317. The Policy will contain reductions, limitations, exclusions and termination provisions. What Is The Epic Australia Pass?

The Epic Australia Pass is a different pass product offered at a different time. The Epic Australia Pass has restrictions similar to the Epic Local Pass – and it requires a large upgrade to be similar to the Epic Pass. The Epic Australia Pass is only on sale for a limited time each season.
