Furano

Furano Ski Resort

Furano ski resort is located in the central area of Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido receiving 9 metres of extremely dry powder snow every season.

Furano has 10 lifts, including the fastest cable car in Japan and 24 trails. Furano ski resort has many bluebird days but what makes Furano so special is its local feel with many instructors, guides and hotel staff being residents of Furano.

For untouched powder lovers, Furano ski resort is the perfect place to venture out on a day trip to the back country ski areas of Tomamu, Asahidake and Kamui.
